MacAddict – monthly digital camera equipment reviews. I was based out of Calais, Maine at the time.

New York Times – photography feature of digital camera assembly at the Thailand Nikon factory.

O’Reilly Digital Media – Sponsored by Adobe for a series of articles and advertising for Adobe Lightroom Beta. Produced and self-published an eBook series on Adobe Lightroom Beta and a Guide to the Nikon D300.

1987 – 2005 – Technology Columnist – Bangkok Post Newspaper
Weekly column on use of Macintosh computers, desktop publishing, multi-media and digital photography. I wrote and produced the final artwork for this column on Macintosh computers, producing the artwork on my company’s Linotronic 300 laser imagesetter. It may have been the first and last time that a newspaper columnist was allowed to produce his own content and artwork, with no interference from the publisher.

1985 – 2005 – Managing Director – A3- CompuPrint – Bangkok, Thailand
The first PC (Macintosh) based, page layout and computer graphics production house, in South East Asia. Computer artwork, page layout and multimedia presentations for advertising agencies, corporations and publishing houses. Location and studio photography for commercial & editorial clients.

Our clients included literally every major advertising agency and most of the book and magazine publishers in Bangkok. Our clients included Ogilvy & Mather, Saatch & Saatchi, Dentsu, Ted Bates, Leo Burnett, Lintas, Oriental Hotel, Dusit Thani Hotel, Regent Hotel, Holiday Inn, Procter & Gamble, Colgate, Lever Brothers, Hewlett Packard, Asia Books, and many more.

1982 – 1984 – Corporate Advertising Photographer – ABC Entertainment , Los Angeles
Production stills and studio portraits for various television shows, American Bandstand, Three’s Company, General Hospital, Benson, Family Feud, and numerous other productions.

1978 – 1981 – Freelance Photographer – Bangkok, Thailand. Various commercial and editorial assignments in South East Asia.

Fashion and product photography for magazines and advertising agencies. Editorial photography & publishing project for UNHCR and Japan Association, of refugee camps and border areas of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Burma. In June of 1980 I was captured on the Thai-Cambodian border by the Vietnamese Army, while covering a battle between Vietnamese and Cambodian forces, in a border refugee camp. I was released back to Thailand, after spending four days trekking through the jungle, often blind-folded and knee deep in mud and water.
